Anonymous Miner — This bust by now needs no introduction.

Anonymous by master Alfonso "Banshee" Giraldes. Converted into a coal miner as homage to my local coal mining community and because, well, why not?

This piece has undergone several paint jobs, in itself a wonderful experience. As a learning aid which was its original intent Alfonso has really sculpted something which gives a great deal of scope to approach from an illustrative super saturated perspective or, as i have tried, a more natural realistic approach.

I hope you like it as much as i enjoyed converting an painting it!

I saw it on the Duke of Bavaria and I liked it a lot. Great converting and great painting. The shaped lorry car is just one of the nice details.
