I present you my first project on P&P. I just finished the amazing bust of Budicca (thanks Pedro Fernandez !). I painted it with acrylics and brush.

it such a beautiful bust and I think you did her justice, you have some very nice textures going on :)

    • Laurent Aubry aka Pisco

Thanks Nils ... I work more and more with texture ... doing this I avoid large homogenic surface

    splendide le buste !
cela vaut bien de l’or !

    • Laurent Aubry aka Pisco

Merci Marc !!!

    • Laurent Aubry aka Pisco

    Good work!
Super the fabric representation, one believes to recognize the type of fabric.
    I like it.

    • Laurent Aubry aka Pisco

      Hi,
I’m glad you like it. When I can i tried to paint the fabric. It brings more realism.
      Thanks !!

  • Clive Jackson

Nice job! I like the brown hair on this bust for a change, and also the nice little touch of the freckles on the face!

    • Laurent Aubry aka Pisco

      Hi Clive,
Budica was known as a woman with ginger hair, wearing colorful clothes with a spear.
In the version I saw Budica as very reddish hair and I tried to change through a more auburn version.
I tried to don’t make the same as Pepa Saavedra to the box art but he clove must be green to contrast with the hair and the tunic must be in neutral tones ... so I work on the fabric to add my personal touch
And thank you to teach me the word “freckles” !! in french we say “taches de rousseur”.
I saw the freckles effect on my version of Anne Bonny’ bust and i realise that imperfection points can avoid a make up effect and give to the skin a more realistic touch ...
