It was a real pleasure to paint this Latorre bust. The most challenging part was capturing the cast shadows.

    Hi Macca, I like him a lot! I have a a small critique for you and I hope you do not mind. I feel that the tops of the horns need some glinting highlights. There is such intense light on the piece and it seems that this area needs more light so that it is consistent with the rest of the painting. Hopefully that makes sense. You know I like your work and your style :)

      Thanks Matt! Always happy to get the feedback. I hear ya about the lighting on top of the horns. It was playing on my mind a little whether I had gone too soft with it. Each piece a new lesson!
