Song to the Siren
Song to the Siren
Bust form Nuts Planet. Siren.

I loved painting it. Beautiful. I chose a cold pålette, with focus on her gaze away from the viewer. There is no alluring lady here. If you crash your ship into these rocks, the disaster is all yours. Also, the title 'Song to the Siren' is from the classic song by This Mortal Coil.

Painted all in Scale 75, except for some artist's inks. Interesting, as the scale 75 surface is really chalky, whilst I would like her to have a slight shine. Which has been achieved with inks here and there. Also a few metallics used, also from Scale 75.

The crop is not by accident. The large black background really adds to the model (but sorry for making it smaller). She is at a distance, mind, resting on a rock far from you, and with a lot of sharp edges to cross in order to get closer....

Delicious skintones and I also love the fact that she actually looks wet.
