Merlin
Since I mostly paint female miniatures I wanted to try something different. I like the mood of this one and I decided to paint him in an earthy color scheme.

@edit: I also took a new photo of this miniature with the help of some tipps of a good friend. I hope it is better now!

    Nice improvement in your painting skill!
    A little critique nonetheless:

    - The transistion betwenn grey and brown cloth areas is very undefined. A Darklining would be nice here.

    - The Base needs a wash ;)

    - The birds feathers look like they got a wash that was way too black. Try smaller steps in brightness even when using washes (you could mix some lighter colour in)
