This is a wedding present for my Mum who got married in October, the piece was inspired by Brazilian artist Thiago Neumann, to give you an idea of scale the scale of the whale, the plinth is 150mm long and the tallest is about 140mm high. The water was created by sculpting the waves in plaster first, making a silicone mould of the plaster waves, then casting them in clear tinted resin, the water was inspired and influenced by Jean-Bernard André work and articles.
