I painted this amazing bust from Black Sailors for the box art as a collaboration with Big Child Creatives. The sculpture was done by Hugo Gómez Briones in 3D programm.
The colour scheme is based on a colour that Adrian Prado did for the Kickstarter campaing. For me was a great inspiration at the time to make my interpretation of the sculpture. My intention was to capture the 2d efects and style and brought it to the 3d. That was not easy considering it has to work in every view of the miniature but I am really happy with the final result. I think in this work I put many things that I've learnt this year in therms of colour. I recommend it very much to those how like to draw volumes on the miniatures, this one has more possibilites that it seems, my interpretation is just one of them. Hope to see many other painted soon!
