Sculpted by Carl Reid and painted in 2015 this was my first historical piece. I wanted something a little more colourful than the standard khaki colour scheme so did some research and settled on the 1880 battle of Kandahar, at that time local Sikhs were allowed to use their traditional turbans.

I was lucky enough to be awarded silver in the Historical Busts category at Euromilitaire 2015, and he was part of my historical masters painting display at the Duke of Bavaria show in 2016 which was awarded bronze.
