Another commemorative sculpture with a sprig of oak, flag on the base stone and an M16 helmet with stirnpanzer brow plate attached. These steel plates were attached onto the helmet vents and held by a leather strap. They were so heavy they only saw limited use by machine gun crews and snipers.
