I haven't painted this skin tone often, and this has an awful lot of skin to practice on! The wings were just straight-up fun; I worked less on smooth blending as much as "do I like it?" I couldn't resist putting some garnets on her base. Otherwise I painted the base to be similar to a blueschist.

Really enjoy the colour palette on this one. Well done on the skin, next time you could go less harsh a highlight on the stomach and collarbone sections, female skin always looks better with smoother transitions of highlights.
I actually referred a lot to the model art on Dark Sword’s website for her, but instead of pale skin, I aimed for a Mediterranean tan. That’s how I landed on the conclusion of high contrast there. She has some harsh edges, like she’s sucking in her tummy a bit!
You are right about the base. In all honesty, she’s one of the first pieces I even used tufts on! Basing is definitely an aspect of the hobby I need to work on.
