The sculpture of Young B. Song is well made, the size seems to me more to be 1/12 than 1/10.

The choice of this piece was guided by the possibility of working a large surface of skin, and to try me some free-hand.

As I do not consider this bust as a historical reference, I took the liberty to make some changes on the helmet using plastic card to have a sufficient width of surface to achieve the pattern.

The shield has been slightly enlarged, the concavity improved and the edges trimmed, also for the purpose of allowing me to pose patterns. I represented in the center a white Pegasus on a blue sky. The paint is very pale to suggest severe weather (rain, sun ...) and shots received in combat. The paint peels and the wood appears in places....

Questo mi piace molto. Mi piace come hai reso i vari materiali, texture, metalli, ma anche il viso!!!
    Molto realistico l’invecchiamento sullo scudo.

Just WOW! Your work is colourful and yet so natural in appearance! The shield is beautifully damaged -if this is all possible :)

This bust was a trainer to learn to paint the skin and work the wear of the shield, as well as to make my first free-hands.
Thank you for your kind words
