Well, the metal is very flat. It looks like it got a wash or 2 but not much else. It needs some more highlights and shading, and adding some colour and or weathering would also help.
The skin looks like it has good transitions, but a bit more contrast would help, as well as colour on the cheeks and nose.
The horse could use a bit more contrast too, as well as a bit of hair texture.

Agreed. Stunning, but stunning freehand. Something I definitely need to start to work on and will use your work as a reference from now on. But metal biggest aspect thatis needs more work on. Looking forward to see more of your work.
