Hello. My first version of this new bust by Peder Bartholdy. I tried to make it interesting every bit of her. It was such an interesting paint. The small bust is the first of an academic line and is available through my brand, Nordlys Miniatures.

I will do several versions of her, and have currently done four.

thanks to Mads Seit Jespersen for photos!

yessss!!! I love this one, great work, and great idea. Not the kind of woman we see every day in miniatures. amazing!

Un sujet un peu particulier, mais une mise en peinture exceptionnelle, plus particulièrement pour le grain de peau. Gold, of course !

    • Jakob VPLUS

Thank you so much Eric. Yes the skin was very difficult but I think It turned out lovely too. Maybe the model will make more sense once you see my other versions. It is a model meant for conversion work (or simply skin practice)

  • Kyle Maitland

the details and overall skin translucency are extremely well executed.  Looks great without being overcooked.

    • Jakob VPLUS

Thanks so much Kyle, and thanks for chats along the way

i think overall is agreat job. but some areas looks a bit rough to me. in a way that the visual aspect from far seems unfinisehd or somehow too leathery.. but some other parts are fanmtastic i specially like the rim light on the nose and the work in the darker areas of the face. really cool

    • Jakob VPLUS

Hello Alfonso. Thanks for checking in. To me no parts are unfinished. You seem to tell me to be more smooth every time you comment, haha. :) maybe it is just because you can see eveything in these pictures? But thank you for your comment.
