This is the first dwarf character we designed, so it's such a big emotion for me to see it finally painted!
I've tried for the first time a water effect, and despite it has been really difficult to manage it on such a tiny, cylinder-shaped plinth, the result is not totally bad.
I hope you like it!

Grazie Fabrizio, troppo buono ^_^ domanda a te che sei veterano, ma come mai tutte le immagini che uppo qui sul sito si auto sfocano e desaturano? O_o sto per caso sbagliando qualcosa?

    • Matteo "Durgin" Donzelli

Thank you Alfonso! Lately I’m trying to put some efforts on bases, I always hated to invest time on them (I don’t know why, because I like them .__.). I’m glad you like it!

  • Josh "Zozimus" Pattison

I love it!  Two questions:  1.  What brand of paint do you use?  2.  I can’t really see what that is in the water—- a helmet?

    • Matteo "Durgin" Donzelli

thank you Josh! I use many colour brand, in specific lately I use a lot Kimera Kolors and the old Citadel Foundation range. In general, however, I use to paint with Vallejo and Citadel!
Inside the water I put a little dwarf totem that we produce as a scenic accessory! In these pics in fact it’s not easy to see it, it’s a little runic stone shaped as a dwarf face!

  • Martin Vermeulen (Nighthawk)

Marvellous! It’s such a cool piece!!!
