I painted this bust over the course of an over night weekend challenge at Crystal Dragon, CanCon Jan 2020, I used the sculptors 3d render colouration as a reference as well as additional pictures of chameleons and lizards I printed out.

This was also the first time that I had some nice feedback and direction from Aleksandra Tana Cvetanovski and Marko Miladinović from Craftworld Studio playing with colour temperatures and flowing it through the piece to help tie it together was incredibly helpful.

Over all a very fun bust to paint, what at first was thought to be something relatively easy(how silly of me ahah) became a wonderful challenge in detailing the scales and trying to reduce the over bearing yellow belly.
