I wanted to paint something pretty quick and fun in which I could practice some female skintone and work on textures. This was a lot of fun. I've purposefully left certain elements 'less' painted than others to force more important aspects. Something I've been thinking more of recently. Hope you like it!
Such an incredible showcase of texture and skin work. Gold level work here. I’m going to say comfortably that this is some of the most believable texture work I’ve seen. When one judges texture the big question to ask oneself- does the paint job enhance the surface of the model. Without a doubt trait does. What a tremendous piece jay. I would like to add that when folks finish a piece fast or faster than others it means that they’ve built up thief muscle memory so well that when they paint they go on autopilot and it just takes over. Kinda like when we get in an automobile and start the key by turning it in the ignition. We dint think about any of this we just sit, turn , shift and drive the car.
Jay has demonstrated what years of practice can achieve such incredible work in a shorter than normal amount of time.
