One of my entries for the massive voodoo challenge 2020 "beyond your imagination".
This was a scene where I wanted to try paint with a little more atmosphere than I normally achieve. I wanted to create the feeling that the astronaut is lost in the wilderness somewhere after being separated from the rest of his group while on a routine operation. As the night wears on the hopelessness of his situation begins to set in as he lights his last flare to guide his way through the endless forest he counts the minutes until the light dies along with any hope of getting out again.
