This is my vision of Alfonso Giraldes famous teachings. The left side of the mini (it's rigt side) was done by mixin primary colors (and black and white) playing with the tones. The other side is mean to represent a coloring by numbers, like those child's books.
The main idea is to confront two different types of aproaching the painting, one is thinking of what you are doing and actually understanding the basics behind the teaching, the other is follow receips and just putting the color you are told to put on the spot you are told.
Also the "unfinished" look to the mini is done on purpose to reinforce the idea of the moment of a student painting (in the middle of the process)
