Here is my latest achievement. It is about a play published by the mark GOLEM (The Muses) and representing Lady Godiva, wife of the Count Léofric de Mercia, and crossing the streets of Coventry naked so that its inhabitants do not pay more taxes. This piece is directly inspired by a canvas painted by John Collier. The horse is painted in oils and the rest in acrylics, all the lions decorating the shell having been painted one by one by freehand.

      Merci Philippe; Essayer de retransmettre en trois dimensions la vision d’un tableau a été un véritable challenge, et m’a obligé à revoir mes techniques de peinture. Tout n’est pas parfait, mais au final, je suis tout de même satisfait du résultat.

    tes lions sont bien , et je connais la difficulté d’en réaliser un bon nombre de façon répétitive.
    bravo pour la carnation
    la sculpture des cheveux est un peu simpliste - dommage (là tu n’y es pour rien !)
    pense à te servir d’un aéro la prochaine fois pour des grandes zones colorées ; ta base rouge y aurait gagnée en qualité d’aplat.
    au final une pièce très spectaculaire !

      Merci Marc. C’est sur qu’avec un aero, les grandes surfaces à traiter doivent être plus faciles. Mais je n’en ai pas, et comme je peins sur un coin du bureau chez moi, ma femme ne semble pas d’accord pour voir arriver ce type d’appareil !
