Although the space between us is dangerous, it isn’t that far. We’re all right there, just a reaching hand away. That’s a pretty relatable thing in 2020 now isn’t it? We can be beside people, but it just feels farther. Less secure. More isolated. But we need to remember, we are still right there. To try and reduce our isolation in isolation. So close, but worlds apart.

So this little piece is my tribute to that, a bit of a fuck you to what we’ve been feeling all year. A small bit of (toxic) water separating these barely separated birds. It doesn’t matter that the river is filled with the ‘rona (or my sculpted approximation for scale). So reach out and have a chat with someone you want to.

Built out of a 40mm square burl plinth that Max is still crying I painted over. Some old Mr Lees Penguins from a Massive Voodoo Challenge of yore I wasn’t around for, and some Gedeo resin.

      Thank you.  I agree, we do need more nature scenes. I am gathering materials for some ideas I have.  I have a box of pigeons for example.  36 of them.  That’ll be fun.  It is indeed fitting for the time, but we have hope, at least for now.
