My last project that was my entry in Hussar 2013 competition. I wanted to practice some damaged material and metallics because I always painted NMM. I hope you like her and any comments are welcome.
Thx Łukasz. I know that the hair is not as good as the rest and I’m not happy about it but the deadline for the Hussar competition made mi rush some thing.
is a really good painting. if you allow me to give a tip, the only problem i see is that you hjave interpreted the light as a cilinder in the legs and this way of doing increase the straight sensation of the legs. i think it could look a bit better if you painted it ina mor rounded way. difficult to explain. dont know if i explain properly but the mini looks really really good.
I think I know what you mean to say. So next time I should make the light fall from different angles and not just from above am I correct ??. This one was the most difficult miniature I painted and It was very hard for me to paint with brush only. I wanted to stick to the zenithal light but I guess the legs do differ in that aspect from the rest. Thanks for the tip and I hope you will look sometimes on my work because I’m a big fan of yours :D.
