1014 Good Friday Armageddon - Murchad son of Brian Boru
75mm figure form Romeo Models(ROM75038) finished as Murchad mac Briain; son of Brian Boru High King of Ireland at the battle of Clontarf fought on Good Friday 1014.
He killed 100 Vikings they said with one hand fifty and with the other hand another fifty. He didn’t survive the battle.
Base made up from a hobby balsa book box and finished with heavy paper stained in coffee and tea and then heated in the oven. The standing stone is also scratch built using some balsa foam carved with Omagh script and weathered and painted.
