Krulghast Cruciator
Once a mortal who met an agonizing death on the flensing table or torture rack, a Krulghast Cruciator is summoned from the darkest dungeons and oubliettes, tormented for eternity. It desires to share its agony and torment with the living. The terrible suffering of a Krulghast Cruciator's imbues it and the surrounding Nighthaunts with a potent aura.

Like the other models of my Nighthaunt army, this guy is painted with lacquer paints, water-based acrylic paints, and acrylic inks. Shadows and lines are done using an enamel panel accent liner. Highlights are done with watercolors and drybrushed oil paints.

Crusted rust is done using rust-colored pigments and ground soft pastel chalk with a fixer. For the torture implements, I stippled Blood for the Blood God then coagulated them with mineral spirits. The effect was nice but I wanted some thicker, gummier blood. So I stippled Pebeo acrylic glaze; while the glaze was still wet, I stippled Blood for the Blood God again.

Base details are done using sculpted gravestones, resin skulls, stained coffee paper stamped with leaf stamp, and bushes made of jute twine fibers. C&C welcome.
