I just finished this wonderful bust from @spiramirabilis_miniatures after around 60 hours of paintjob.
From the moment I purchased it I have very clear what color scheme to use…
When I was a kid I was a big fan of the Ninja Turtles and this figure reminded me of Splinter with one of the little ones on his back.
The colors of the boy are based on some of the clothes that Splinter wore in the animated series (violets, purples and magentas). I added also the logos he wore in his kimono.
For the turtle, at first I wanted to paint Donatello (he is my favorite one) but since the model had a katana I thought it was more appropriate to pain Leonardo.
The 4 colors of the turtles masks are in some parts of the figure.
It has been a fun project that I hope you enjoy as much as I did painting it!

I strongly hesitate to go for my youth references on this sculpt and i was torn between Ninja Turtle or Lone Wolf and Cub ,
You can’t imagine how glad I am to have choosen the latter, because you did the former soo much better than I could have, a tru “for and by” fan master piece, so many hints and easter eggs ... I absolutely love it, definitely my favorite version of this bust so far !
