“Don´t turn your back to the enemy”  General Stenbock, battle of Helsingborg 1710
“Don´t turn your back to the enemy”  General Stenbock, battle of Helsingborg 1710
This scene, inspired by a famous painting, show general Stenbock leading his army of Swedish Karoliner troop into battle at Helsingborg in 1710. The battle was a decisive victory for the Swedes over the invading Danish troops.
Note the composition with the drummer boy, being the focal point of the scene with his yellow jacket looking up to his beloved general. Also note the flag, the raised muskets and swords, all creating a natural backdrop and helping to frame the scene.
A 54mm scratch built diorama from 2018. Or old sins! : )

I want to wish everyone a Merry and Peaceful Christmas!
