Amazingly fun piece to work on, a really inspiring sculpt to paint. I've never painted anything more in the realms of historical subjects before, but fantasy and sci-fi models have so many small and often unnecessary details for lore or fluff reasons so historical seemed the way to go for a stripped back sculpt to really test my skills and learn.
Focused on using textures and controlling the size of highlights on the volumes to sell different fabrics and pushing what I can do with skintones and understanding the planes and volumes of the face. I feel like it turned out pretty well, the skin here is such an improvement on previous attempts. Hair is weaker, but it wasn't my focus so I'm okay with that.

Beautiful piece! Your goals seem to have been achieved. The fabric textures are fantastic, and the skin is very well done. You got the toughest part imo - the neck. Dunno what it is but that is tough for me and hers is great!
