This is an ode to The Duel from Star Wars Visions. It’s a really cool short about the adventures of a ronin Jedi with strong Kurosawa vibes. In The Duel the animation is in black and white with only electrical lights emitting color. Thank you to Erik Swinson, Will Hahn, Francesco Farabi for your helpful feedback and Dave Colwell for your moral support in commiserating about how deceptively difficult it is to paint red lighting effects when the light source is on the model given the short range of red! Anyway it was a fun experiment and the effect worked out pretty nicely! <br />
