The Minotaur by Journeyman Miniatures. One of the most intimidating paintjobs I've done because its one of Paul's most iconic paintings and there's already been so many amazing versions of him!

I tried to stay as close as possible to the artwork while pushing the lighting situation as hard as I could.

      Cheers John, It was the main part of the piece that i wanted to convey from the illustration and it’s the first time I think i have been successful at painting a realistic, desaturated shadow that wasn’t just variations of blue!
