Japanese courtesan... or is it?
My rather subtle take on Rokurokubi yōkai from a classical kaidan, in attempte to express the character strictly through the atmosphere of a piece, with a contrast play of freehands via traditional fabric patterns meanin, one being lust and longing for spring (kimono), other being snowfall (obi sash), graving the "spring" under, and a chrysanthemum's yellow flower, symbolising sun and immortality, behind it all. Had a lot of fun with this rather unusual figurine.
