This was painted for my sister. She lost her parakeet about a year ago. I did my best to keep his coloring the same and she did recognize him right away saying, "aw, it's Simon" as soon as she saw the figure, so I think I did ok! I'm very proud of this one. I did a lot of research on color theory before starting and believe it made for a better miniature in the end.
