Here is my version of Kenjiro (Tale Of War). I think it is a very nice miniature to paint. It is static but has very nice lines in composition. The hair and clothes are in motion and that's really good.
However, Kenjiro is only about 30 mm and I'm getting used to work with some larger scales. It's a good miniature for people who want to learn about volumes and see some new things.
My biggest complication was trying things about color. I've been running tests for hours, changing the skin again and again. Finally, I removed the paint and started again. That was the best because I saw everything much clearer and I finished it very quickly.
I'm not able to capture with my camera the actual skin tones, and is perhaps the worst picture where you can see them better. I do not have a good camera, I'm not a good photographer. This is the truth. I just hope you like it!
