The Centurion from this set was the first display bust I painted 2 years ago so now it was time to paint up the next from the group.
My focus with this one was twofold; to continue working on more refinement and to push the visual interest by working the environment into my non-metallics more (as I've consider NMM to be one of my weaker points so far).
I'm happy with the outcome as I think I've done quite a few things better than previous pieces, and although I say it every time I feel I've leant a lot again in the process. Certainly been a piece I enjoyed, but now it's time to pick something new and decide what to push myself with on a new piece!
