I tried to concieve this piece as a whole, not paying to much attention to any single mini but to the general feel and look. It's been fun and i specially enjoyed neglecting painting one side of the minis xD. At the beginning i wanted to paint Helm`s deep at the back, but i was not making it work, so i decided to do this instead. At the upper left side light coming towards the chaos, fire and dust, in the same way the rohirrim are advancing towards the huruk hai.
