This commission is a digital reconstruction of a destroyed Prussian sculpture created by Michel Lock in 1891 and sculpted by Franz Tübbecke in marble in 1899.
Until now there are just a few images left of this beautiful sculpture showing Kaiser Wilhelm I. in his armchair, with the Angel of Death by his side. The title is taken from one of Wilhelm's favorite sayings.
It was displayed at the Hohenzollern Museum in Monbijou Palace and was lost when the palace was destroyed in 1956 because of the massive damage during World War II.

      Das genau solche Arbeiten heutzutage möglich sind , ist schon fast grenzenlos Oliver . Davon haben vor 20 jahren die meisten modelierer nur geträumt . Aber das schönste daran ist !
