Here comes my first diorama! Those past two and a half years I've painted a lot of busts, a few standalone figures and I had the itch to actually go bigger, try to create a little composition. Last year when at Kontrast, I got to discover stella argentis , a lovely brand that pushes a type of fantasy figures that really talk to me.

When they released this beauty sculpted by victor aguilar , I couldn't miss the opportunity to get my hands on it.

The cold scene was a challenge that I wanted to tackle for a long time, a furry beast as well. It was a great playground to try and work with a limited palette and different types of brushstrokes.

I feel like I could have worked on this piece for a whole other month, but I also need to take the learnings from this project and enjoy discovering other stories, figures, scenes.
