Oh I love this miniature so much. An original from master @mujin__park and which he gifted me long ago. Mujin and I are friends, I should dare say now, and his vision and emotions in his sculpts speak to me very much. Some, for some odd reason, aren’t produced, and why no company bought this for production, I will never fathom. Rest assured, if I could have, Nordlys Miniatures would have.
Alas, painting the only version that will ever be is scary, and I try my best to capture the soul of it.
For me, I thought a lot about the perverse in soaping up nature, whilst still creating pure child-like magic in the dancing colours, and figured that that is the essence of life; there is no way we can exist without influencing our surroundings. So I wanted to catch that ambiguity in existing in nature and coping with the fact that we leave footprints everywhere.
And I also just wanted to create something pretty. I know Mujin was looking forward to someone painting bubbles, and I may have gone a bit too far with that :)
