Analysis:
For this piece you'll notice I didnt name it or give it a name plate. I specifically didnt want to label this one.
I really wanted to create a scene and let the viewer decide what it depicts. (Ill explain)
The model is of an apocalypse survivor who is well equipped and capable of overcoming obstacles. She is standing on a broken highway, I chose to do a highway to reinforce the feeling of purpose, direction and a mission, you'll notice her foot is standing on the line as if pointing towards the viewer.
On the road we see a bloody scene. With the word "RUN" written in blood. With blood smears on the ground, and a bloody letter that has fallen into the cracks. Is the letter hers? Is it a letter that was written to her that she never recieved? Was this her mission? To find this loved one? Or did she happen upon the scene as an outside viewer? What does her body language speak about this moment? I wanted to leave these questions open and available to the viewer.
