After a longer pause, I would like to share with you my most recent storytelling piece. After watching the amazing animated movie Ferdinand (2017) on Disney+, I decided to continue exploring a similar theme—like in my previous work on seal hunting—to support the global message behind it. Ferdinand is a gentle, peaceful bull who loves flowers and refuses to fight. However, he is mistaken for a fierce beast and taken from his home to be trained for the corrida. With the utmost sensitivity to this controversial topic and to Spanish culture, I delved into studying the tradition in depth, aiming to fully understand and experience it in all its aspects—not just superficially.

Understanding that it may be emotionally raw and difficult to process, I would love to hear how it resonates with you.
Please share your feelings with me :)

A barbaric tradition. I looked it up on Wikipedia because I was sure that bullfighting had already been banned. It wasn't. Gold

If this becomes a series I am all in. Loved the first one and love this one! Strong work! I did one in.1:72 many years back on the sad subject. Amazing piece, Pavel. Gold and Editor's.

Thank you Roman for your valuable feedback. That's the question, should be (at least) one next in series? Cheers, Pavel

Je suis contre cet "art" sauvage et barbare, ton tableau est fort et bien exécuté donc je vote Gold. Mais je le trouve ambigu dans le sens où il faut lire ton commentaire pour comprendre si tu plébiscites ou pas cette pratique...

Thank you for your opinion. I prefer to create art that provokes and sparks controversy in a neutral way, without clearly taking one side or the other. This allows each viewer to interpret the piece in their own way and feel something unique based on their personal perspective. I am here merely as a medium to bring this art to you. Cheers, Pavel

I've had the pleasure to see this project on Kontrast Festival. Together with the seal theme, they are stunning! This is so sad, but unfortunately true. Gold!
