Recently I set myself the challenge to paint my first bust in just one weekend. I'm a slow painter, so this seemed like an impossible challenge, but I cut some corners, concentrated on certain parts (the skin) and managed to get it done.
My vision for this piece was that Dracula has just opened the door to his castle and is inviting you enter and sit by the fire. Lit by moonlight from the top right and the open fire to the left.
I'm really happy with how it turned out.
