This piece was born out of a love for the world of The Lord of the Rings, and it represents one of the most memorable moments from the film trilogy: Gandalf the White and Pippin riding on Shadowfax, crossing the river toward Minas Tirith, the White City, after departing from Edoras, home of the Riders of Rohan.
I aimed to capture that moment filled with emotion and urgency—where hope seems to hang by a thread, yet still shines through the shadows.
Beyond the competition and the event, this piece holds a very special meaning for me: it was raffled within the hobby community to raise funds for those affected by the DANA that struck Valencia, Spain. Thanks to everyone's generosity.

Esta obra nació del amor por el universo de El Señor de los Anillos, y representa uno de los momentos más memorables de la trilogía cinematográfica: Gandalf el Blanco y Pippin cabalgando a lomos de Sombragrís, cruzando el río hacia Minas Tirith, la Ciudad Blanca, tras partir desde Edoras, hogar de los Jinetes de Rohan.
Quise capturar ese instante cargado de emoción y urgencia, donde la esperanza parece pender de un hilo, pero aún brilla entre sombras.
Más allá del concurso y del evento, esta pieza tiene un significado muy especial para mí: fue sorteada entre la comunidad del hobby con el objetivo de recaudar fondos para ayudar a los afectados por la DANA que golpeó Valencia, España. Gracias a la generosidad de todos.
