Initialy sculpted as a Blade Runner character Joi (Ana de Armas) by my friend Thorbjørn Barone.
But I didn't stick to the character - I wanted to paint something different. My goal was to transfer the mood.
As a colour reference I used noname student's reproduction of one of Van Gogh's painting I saw in a local cafe. I loved the turqoise shadows so mush there.
In addition I was looking for inspiration in music. I was painting this bust while listening to Radiohead - Ok Computer & Placebo - Meds albums. It was a purposeful dive into the mood.
