This is my third 1:10 figure (It still only counts as one!), and one I had mixed feelings about while completing it. The process of painting the Uruk-hai, the base, and Gimli was very smooth and straightforward, and very satisfying. However, when approaching Legolas I was going through some burnout and anxiety and it got very frustrating. I painted his face 3 or 4 times, trying to reinvent the wheel, until I returned to my usual method, but by then the result wasn't as smooth as I liked. I had to "force" myself to finish it, worried that he was going to ruin the whole piece, but in the end I'm quite happy with the result. I may give it another go in a few years though :)
