My piece "Chosen Champion" aims to capture the raw strength of our champion without necessarily conveying absolute aggression. I have rendered him with dramatic contrast and meticulous attention to the lighting of the skin. My use of muted magenta and earthy brown hopes to create a visual balance between vitality and grit, while the layered textures of leather and fur ground the character in realism.The high contrast of skin tone is designed to suggest depth of spirit rather than outright rage, revealing a side of the orc archetype that is both noble and formidable rather than cruel. This piece will be submitted to the Eccles art exhibit "Faces" in November 2025.
