The base was sculpted by me from wood and cork, and the gnome was converted a bit (he used to hold a lantern instead of a bucket).
A small excerpt from his backstory connected to this scene:
"Another day along the road and I found a wonderful cave. I knew I was supposed to head to Venmire quickly but I could not help but stop and check if there were any good mushrooms. Unfortunately, I fell into a ravine and would have been killed if not for a spell I'd learned! I floated to the bottom and found a poor soul who didn't know this spell, just broken bones left. They had a small scroll case and I learned a new spell from it! Thankfully Thistle was able to climb down and help me back out, and we found some nice glowing mushrooms on the way out."
