... What are you expecting? It is paint.
That "tricking" effect is a consequence in pictures because we are seeing the "same" as we would in a picture of a real metal but it's just that, a consequence.
It's true that in some cases and Social media made it turned out to be the goal but I don't believe in that. I like seeing beautiful paint on a model. I like seeing the brushstrokes in some capacity if I look close enough.
I guess all this is what I had to remind myself before tackling this project, I was afraid to do a reflective NMM because it's more difficult to trick in real life but then...I don't want that.
I am very happy I didn't listen to my chicken side and went for it, I had a lot of fun and even if it's not perfect I truly like it.
