The goal was to step out of comfort zone and paint something completely different than usual, and as i aint the biggest fan of space marines this is the ultimate target. As most of these contemptor miniatures tend to be weathered to death i wanted someting entierly different - a factory fresh one, more or less.

Think i lost more than one braincell in the process painting all this SENMM, as the angle of every plate have to be figured out. thank to the cmon crew, followers of my wip/s, in particular Avelorn-Sven for theory discussions. Also Chrispys SENMM article helped a lot;

    Hi, looks great. I can remember seeing senmm first time about ten years ago at my yahoo miniature painting group. It was a griffin from rackham done in this way. After that this style was dead - it is the rebirth in this piece. I like your Dreadnought very much. How long did you paint in him? Thank you for posting. Best wishes Sash
