Hello,



This is my latest project. When this model came out I knew I have to paint him because I like the mini very much. I knew that It would be very time consuming but taken up the glove and started painting him. My goal was a good version of Horus before his heresy. I wanted a bright armor because there ware to many black versions and I always tend to make something different. I wanted him to be shiny and majestic because that’s how a lord of war should look like in my opinion. It took me two months of painting to finish this guy but I'm happy with the end result and I hope you will like him to. For me the biggest challenge ware all the tiny details. I call him more of a craftsman's miniature than a artists because he does’ not give too much freedom when painting all the details. This miniature will be one of my entries on this year’s Hussar competition so wish me luck :D

    due to your request: In my opinion: the general painting is really good. the only thing doesnt work is the gold nmm because this kind of shadow/light contrast doesnt have sense. the rest is lovely, well finished, beautiful colours and very good technique balanced with a good taste of colours. worst. nails gold nmm and the drawing of the cape, that is a bit naive to my taste. a solid figure!
