I painted Yoda for Crystal Brush 2015. It was so much fun painting this awesome Yoda sculpt, so much constrained intensity in a little guy. I wanted to capture a sense of remorse, regret, anger, and sadness in his expression that I imagined he had after all his jedi buddies got executed and he was forced to spend the rest of his years in a swampy mess. It was really difficult to realize a good fog effect. My attempt was sculpting some fluffy fog on top of plasticard and painting a transparency effect.

    Very cool experiment with the fog. Looks convincing. Overall a very cool model with athmosphere! The painting of his face is superb!
