Hi, another project done, pretty inspiring miniature and fast, 7 days of work but just in-between other projects, i am happy with the result.
I find myself painting female fantasy figures more and more, i also have a love for human figures that are crossed with something else, like robots or animals, Centaur,mermaids etc..

    It’s an interesting paint job and maybe I will be the only one to say this but the muscles are painted way too harsh on her. Her stomach looks harder than most female body builders I’ve known out there and the rest of her skin and musculature is painted to look much softer than the stomach. For most women, the stomach is the last part of the body to end up being sculpted through weight training and weight loss. All too often I see the male painters painting female stomachs like this. Just ease up a bit, it’ll look much much better.

      HI Meg! I know exactly what you mean, but the muscles are sculpted, and they are there, its not a flat female stomach like most sculpts, and i wanted to show that, i like contrasty work, nothing happens for my eyes if its not.
      It was just my interpretation of this mini and i am happy because i worked very few hours on it, cheers!

    This is raglan do interpretation and IMHO opinion the best version of the model to date…your an outstanding artist and this is another reason why….I have the sculpt as well don’t plan on painting it but the stomach muscles are sculpted there and the paintjng is no less than perfect and right on the target…this is a 93 averaged gold medal and it’s perfection of the paintjob is easily justified by the score it has deserved….again everybody has their Intepretation and roglands paintjob is the best I’ve seen ...period!!! Cheers to that..gold gold gold.
