Happy new year!

This is the first figure I have finished this year..and it's a special one, finally a miniature with no weapons at all.
Just an old man, on an autumn day, thinking about stories long time ago, who wants to share his passion, the music.

I think there is a really deep atmosphere or meaning on this great sculpt. I tried my best to emphasize this elements with my painting and the base.

    That is a wonderful miniature with great atmosphere and you painted really great!
    The only thing i would like to point is that the wooden base is a little bit bigger for my taste. But is still a great work :)

    Nice and simple version of this wonderful miniature. The base lacks a little bit of attention, but it fits well. I personally don’t like the too big plinth too. I hear you speaking about his passion, the music and I can see that you were thinking a lot about this fact while painting him up. Why not make it more visible to everyone else, that the most important thing in your project is the music? For example with leaves which are dancing to the music or notes flying around or pigeons listening to the wonderful songs instead of fighting about bread. Just thoughts!

      thanks a lot for your honest comment! You are 100 percent right, dunno why I haven’t thought about that by my own. I have to make this little changes on the base. I think that could complete this little scene =)
